Lana Kirtser was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, and immigrated to the U.S. in 1979. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. For the past twenty-five years, she has worked as an information systems consultant and project manager in Southern California. Her interest in astrology began during her first Saturn return while attending lectures and classes at the Philosophical Research Society in Los Angeles.
Between 1995 - 2001, she studied astrology with various teachers associated with the Aquarius Workshops. Her first mentors were Gloria Stein and Marion March. Currently, Lana is a student and an adjunct faculty member at Kepler College while working toward her professional diploma.
In 1996, primarily out of necessity, Lana began her journey into the 'terra incognita' of astrological rectification methodology. Owing to her place of birth and like many of her future clients, Lana's birth certificate had no birth time information. For fifteen years, Lana devoured every book she could find in English and Russian that offered rectification analysis.
She sought out astrologers in every corner of the world who could share their experience and knowledge.
Lana has been a practicing professional astrologer since 2002. Her main area of expertise is astrological rectification. She is also interested in astrological research, particularly in exploring the relationship between astrology, transpersonal psychology, and mysticism.

For thousands, for years, the human race has been fascinated by the natural phenomena of eclipses. The sudden disappearance of the sun has been seen as an omen of the gods' anger, inspired our ancestors to create copious ceremonies to chaise away the evil spirits and rich oral folklore. Once astronomers figured the mechanics of the solar eclipses, they became events to be studied and celebrated. Although modern science can precisely explain the physical phenomena behind eclipses, humans still ponder their spiritual significance. There is an ancient proverb - "Kings and queens are born and die during eclipses." It stipulates the belief that people born on an eclipse have a unique destiny. They believed to be natural leaders, have critical missions to fulfill in their lives, and karmic responsibilities. They also have a struggle with difficulties and adversities that make them feel different and alienated from others. Is this myth or reality?
